Beginner Jewellery Making – Level 1 Core Techniques

£280.00

This course is designed for complete beginners who want to explore the fundamentals of jewellery making. Over six sessions, you’ll be introduced to a wide range of core techniques including sawing, piercing, soldering, filing, texturing, roll printing, doming, granulation and making ear wires.

In the first three weeks you’ll create a series of practice samples while completing a minimum of three finished pieces: a ring, a pair of earrings, and a pendant, with all materials provided. These projects will help you build confidence with tools and techniques while giving you a strong foundation in the craft.

After this, you’ll have the opportunity to design and make a project of your choice, with full guidance on planning, sourcing and purchasing materials, and bringing your own ideas to life.

Whether you’re looking to try something new or begin your journey into jewellery making, this course offers a supportive, hands-on introduction to the art of working with metal.

This workshop is suitable for those age 16 and over.

Date: Tuesday, November 4th - December 9th

Time: 5.30pm - 8.30pm
