Jewellery Making – Level 2 (Intermediate A)
This course is for students with jewellery-making experience who are ready to expand their creative practice with more advanced techniques. Over the sessions, you’ll explore a variety of exciting methods including an introduction to wax carving, making a chain link bracelet and bespoke fastening and experimenting with enamelling in a taster session. During the enamelling session you will have the opportunity to experiment with both kiln and torch firing.
In the first three weeks, you’ll complete guided exercises to develop your confidence in these new skills. After this, you’ll progress to a project of your own choice, with full guidance on planning, sourcing and purchasing materials, and realising your design.
Level 2 offers the chance to build on your existing skills while discovering fresh techniques that open up new creative possibilities.
This workshop is suitable for those age 16 and over.
Dates: Thursdays, November 6th - December 11th
Times: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
