This course is designed for students with a solid foundation in jewellery making who are ready to take on more complex projects. During the first three sessions, you’ll develop advanced skills which will include making a copper spoon, learning how to melt down, draw wire, and recycle silver or gold metal for reuse. We will also cover sand and water casting methods for jewellery making.
Following this, you’ll move on to a personal project of your choice, reusing your own recycled gold silver metal. If required, we can assist with the sourcing of additional material for your desired end project.
Level 3 is an opportunity to refine your skills, take on challenging projects, and deepening your knowledge of working with metal at an advanced level.
This workshop is suitable for those age 16 and over.
